Isringhausen Imports is thrilled to announce the 2025 recipients of the Isringhausen DRIVE Grant,our flagship investment in the future of downtown Springfield. With an expanded $50,000 grant pool and a growing legacy of entrepreneurial support, this year’s awards mark a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to revitalizing the heart of our hometown. Backed by a generous trust from a late Springfield resident who believed deeply in the city’s potential, the 2025 DRIVE Grant and newly introduced Ignition Awards are helping launch the next generation of bold, community-driven businesses.
DRIVE Grant Winners:
- Long Nine Junction returns to its original location at 5 W Old State Capitol, led by Corey and Emily Faucon, offering bold, fresh counter-service lunches.
- Vonda Social House, founded by Eric and Sierra Ferrell, blends historic charm with modern dining in a restored 185-year-old home near the Lincoln Home site.
Ignition Award Winners:
- 5th Street Gem, created by Lakeisha Purchase, is a dynamic event and dining space fostering cultural connection and economic empowerment.
- Schlee’s Gourmet Bakery & Bottle Shop, launched by Ashley Rickenbach and partners, offers artisanal pastries and curated wines at 225 S. 6th St.
