Vehicle Storage Fees

Purpose of storage charges

To ensure an efficient and timely repair process for all clients, this storage policy addresses vehicles left at our facility after services or repairs have been authorized, declined, or completed. This is necessary due to limited space on the Isringhausen campus. 

Free storage period and vehicle drop-off

When a vehicle is dropped off or towed in, it will be diagnosed and an estimate for repairs will be provided to the client. The client will then have eight business days to decide on proceeding with the estimate or arranging for the vehicle's removal. The date of notification will be documented in writing. 

Commencement of storage fees

Storage fees will be assessed starting on the ninth business day after the client is notified of the estimate and their decision is required. The daily rates are as follows:

• Passenger vehicles: $20.00 per day.
• Commercial vehicles and RVs: $50.00 per day. 

Unclaimed vehicles and next steps

If a vehicle remains unclaimed and storage fees continue to accumulate after 20 days, additional measures will be taken. These measures include, but are not limited to:

• Pursuing a mechanic's lien against the vehicle.
• Declaring the vehicle abandoned, in accordance with state and local laws, and having it towed to a third-party lot at the owner's expense.
