Isringhausen Porsche in Springfield, IL has owned and operated its own professional vehicle delivery since 1987. This service enables us to work with clients all over the country. Last year, nearly 30 percent of our business was conducted through long distance delivery. With this option, your new vehicle leaves our facility and is delivered to your door by an Isringhausen employee in a time frame that you select.

Our Out-of-State Delivery Policy is such that the quality of any vehicle we sell and deliver to you is guaranteed to be exactly the way it was described during the sales process. If, for any reason, the vehicle shows up and is not exactly as your sales associate described it, we will bring the vehicle back at no charge to you.

Depending on scheduling and your location, we may also hire an independent transport company. We select only professional, insured firms with both open and enclosed transporters available.

How would you describe the long distance process?

Upon agreeing to purchase or lease a New or Pre-Owned Porsche car, the client is faxed an order to sign. A deposit will be required to secure the car. After financing or leasing has been arranged, the car will be scheduled for delivery. Upon arrival at your doorstep and after inspection to your satisfaction, the necessary paperwork is completed.

How long does delivery take for out-of-state buyers?

If the buyer is purchasing an in-stock car, we usually deliver anywhere in the country within 10 days. And, we'll deliver it to your home or place of business at the time you specify. Special orders may take longer. For specific timelines, please contact our sales staff and we will be happy to help you.

As an out-of-state buyer, do I have to pay Illinois sales tax?

Our financing experts can help to determine the proper taxing liability between Illinois and your home state. You will never be double taxed.

If I am buying long distance, am I expected to buy a car sight-unseen?

We will accurately describe the car, New or Pre-Owned, and we are happy to do a video walkthrough of the vehicle at the dealership. We will refund your security deposit if we have misrepresented the car.

Who delivers the car and picks up my trade-in (if I have one)?

Most deliveries are made by our professional transporters who are Isringhausen employees. We do occasionally use outside carriers. Our sales staff are available via phone and email to answer any questions you might have regarding your transaction.

What if I am not satisfied with the Isringhausen car when it is delivered?

In the event where we have misrepresented the car or there is a mechanical problem, we will repair it or refund your deposit. At Isringhausen Porsche, we pride ourselves in delivering high-quality vehicles to our customers. After 40 years of business and thousands of deliveries, we have had 4 or 5 returns.
