DuPont Registry Spotlights Our Rare Porsche Carrera GT Pair

DuPont Registry’s feature highlights the rarity, provenance, and purist‑spec details behind the two Carrera GTs we recently photographed.

There’s a particular kind of moment that catches the attention of people with truly discriminating taste — the kind of moment DuPont Registry exists to celebrate. This week, their editors spotlighted a pair of Porsche Carrera GTs from Isringhausen, sharing images that capture the analog supercar at its most iconic. It’s the sort of coverage that reminds you why the Carrera GT continues to define the upper tier of collector culture.

The editors seemed particularly taken with the Carrera GT finished in Paint‑to‑Sample Grand Prix White, a color offered outside the model’s five standard factory choices of GT Silver Metallic, Basalt Black Metallic, Seal Grey, Fayence Yellow, and Guards Red. And while Porsche left little room for customization when new, this example goes even further with a radio and A/C delete, making it one of only a handful of lightweight Carrera GTs, roughly 70 lbs lighter than a standard car.

Our thanks to DuPont Registry for the spotlight. We’re glad the images caught your eye — and even more grateful you shared them with your community of discerning enthusiasts.
