Isringhausen Named 'Best in Springfield' by Illinois Times Readers
Every year, Illinois Times, a free weekly newspaper based in Springfield, invites its passionate readers to cast their votes for their favorite local people, places, and things.
The results are revealed in the eagerly awaited "Best of Springfield" edition, which hit newsstands in late October. For the second consecutive year, Isringhausen Imports secured top positions in both the Best Auto Dealer (New) and Best Auto Dealer (Used) categories. Additionally, Isringhausen’s Brandon Horner was honored as the Best Auto Salesperson, with special recognition for Brian Mitchell as a finalist.
With over 200 categories, the awards span a wide range of favorites, from hamburgers and men's clothing stores to tattoo artists and mobile pet groomers. The nomination process kicks off in mid-August each year, with the top five nominees in each category advancing to final voting. The competition is fierce; for example, the Best Museum category alone garnered over 87,000 votes last year.
