The Isringhausen Imports Burnout Contest Returns

The Isringhausen Imports Burnout Contest is making a comeback!

It will be featured at the International Route 66 Mother Road Festival in downtown Springfield from September 27th to 29th. The contest will kick off at 3:00 pm on Saturday at the corner of 7th St. and Washington, so make sure to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot.

According to festival organizer Greg Cooper, the 2024 Burnout Contest will feature its first female participant in years, who happens to be an 80-year-old woman. She's sure to become a crowd favorite.

Isringhausen Imports will also sponsor the Main Stage for entertainment and announcements. This is where the renowned Miss Mother Road Contest will take place on Saturday at 11:30 am, along with various musical performances. Additionally, the stage will host the trophy presentation ceremony on Sunday at noon for the best vehicles on display at the festival. You can find the full event schedule here.
